LENZING Viscose nonwoven fibres are made from wood-derived raw material and tailored for engineered products. Lenzing highlights moisture distribution, consistent quality and the ability to work with other fibres. Possible blending partners include cotton, polyester, polyamide and glass, allowing a nonwoven to combine different functions.

The resulting performance depends on both the viscose grade and the overall sheet construction. A wood-based origin does not remove the industrial processing involved in making regenerated cellulose. It identifies the feedstock while the manufacturing route establishes the fibre form and intended application.
