OutDry is associated with waterproof technology used in footwear, gloves and outerwear. Sewport describes a construction approach that bonds waterproof material directly to another layer, addressing how water enters and accumulates within a finished product. That technology name describes a function within the item rather than all of its textile ingredients.

Check the manufacturer's specification for the exact construction of the product you are examining. An OutDry reference alone does not identify every outer fabric, lining or reinforcement. Keeping the membrane technology separate from those materials makes the label more useful during fabric identification.
