Woolmark describes compression wool garments using integrated knit structures and wool yarn to support movement and recovery. Body mapping can vary the construction across the garment, while the fibre contributes moisture-vapour handling and a soft next-to-skin feel. Warp knitting is one possible production route.

Compression is therefore a property of the designed textile and fit rather than wool content by itself. Claims about athletic or medical outcomes need appropriate evidence for the complete product. A comfortable fibre can support the design, but it does not establish a measured compression level or therapeutic suitability.
